Wesley Pitts
Started a lawn care business at sixteen, and has spent every year since taking the mowing out of it.
Wesley grew up in Budapest, Hungary, where at sixteen he started a lawn care business serving the expat community. He came to Knoxville for business school at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business, joined the Tennessee Air National Guard, and in 2022 founded KnoxBots to bring robotic mowing to East Tennessee.
KnoxBots served more than a hundred homes before turning to commercial grounds. In 2025 it became TerraSync, and Wesley led the build of Velocity, the software we use to map, size and price every property before anything is installed.
He is a Husqvarna certified installer and still coaches student founders at Haslam.
